Meet the team.  This week we’ve been chatting to our Communal Services Manager, Tania Gostling, about her love of 90s house music and how she’s been at ServiceMaster by Deeland for more than 20 years. 

Tania started her career working for Vodafone in Newbury in the accounts department.  She always had a good head for figures and spreadsheets, and she worked her way up to running teams of people – which proved to be great experience for her role at ServiceMaster, managing nearly 40 people in our communal department.  She was at Vodafone for 12 years, making lifelong friends there, before moving to ServiceMaster to work in the communal department after the win of a large housing association contract.  Longevity of relationships is a theme for Tania as reaching her 20 year work anniversary here testifies.  She has made many good friends not just at ServiceMaster, but on the client side too, seeing a current client through the birth of both her children in her time working with her. 

Travel has always been a passion for her, and this has combined with a love of 90s house music in no less than six trips to Ibiza clubbing, on one of which she met Wayne Lineker, brother of Gary, and owner of Ibiza’s Ocean Beach.  A recent highlight for her was a big family trip to Thailand to celebrate a milestone birthday with her twin sister, Nicola.  Both are keen swimmers, training in the pool three times a week, so it was a chance to do some warm-sea swimming as well as indulge in a few Thai beach massages and the odd cocktail with her whole family to celebrate!  She is married to Phil and has a step-daughter, Emma, and a daughter, Polly, plus her cocker spaniel Maisie who she loves to walk on the common at the weekend.  We are very fortunate to have someone so good at building long-term relationships working with us!
